Eingeladen

The video installation “Eingeladen” (Invited) in the window of Kastanienallee 71 aims to “invite” people passing by the building during the dark season and in this way bring rays of light into their everyday lives.

Advent invites us to reflect on darkness and light and to think about what gives hope. Every Sunday during Advent, the video installation is supplemented and extends further “invitations”, which, in a world of increasing loneliness, aim to facilitate a relationship between man and man and between God and man.

We are invited to peace, invited to grace, invited to creativity and dance, invited to joy, invited to hope, invited to community. And we are also invited to extend the same invitations.
